The full moon kayaking experience is the newest addition to our program. The idea came to the Rock N’ Row team when we were out fishing in our kayaks (that's what we doing on our day off if we have time). One night, a few days after the full moon, we were sitting in our kayaks and were amazed to see the moon rise up from the horizon. It was massive and shone brightly with an orange tint.

 
 
 
   


We were able to see the rays of light break through the clouds and reflect on the surface of the ocean. Sitting in silence, we were admiring the beauty of the night. Then suddenly the idea came to us. We wondered how many people in the world could experience what we just did!? We decided that we want to share this experience with others.

This trip will be held only once a month on the night of the full moon. The duration of the trip will be over the course of 2 days. Enjoy kayaking around the sea caves and mountains during the day and relax on the beach while we set up tent for the night, where you can marvel at the stars above. After setting up the tents, we will head out again to begin the real adventure of night kayaking. The night kayak trip will truly be a magical experience that cannot be compared to anything else. Once you have seen the full moon over the ocean for yourself you can understand the true beauty of the night.

Fullmoon experience itenerary
Day 1
08:00- 08:30 Hotel pick up
09:30  Arrived at the Ao Por pier
10:30 Arrive at the first island, kayak indrotuctory and safety brief will be given here
1045 Start kayak and explore little corner around the first island
12:30 Lunch on the boat
13:30 Start kayak around the second island and visit some cave, learning about rock formation and in land lagoon
15:00 Heading to the camp site and some refreshment on board
16:30 Setting up the camp on the remote island
17:30 Cruising Slowly to Hong island, where the night kaak will be occur
18:00 Freetime to just sit and read or swim in a very clear water by the island untill the sun is gone down
19:00 Dinner on board
19:45 Fullmoon Kayak into the lagoon of hong island, to see a very trangquil atmostphere and feel free to explore little corner of the lagoon by yourself Listen to a wonderfull sound of Cicadas (disambiguation) humbling throughl the moonlight the we will slowly kayak out from the lagoon back to the boat.
21:00 Cruise back to the camp
Day 2
07:00 Morning exercise
07:30 Pack up the tents and clean up the beach (as we only left the footprint behind)
08:30 Breakfast on board while we cruising to the first kayak destination of the day.
10:00 Arrive at the First destination and start enjoy kayaking around.We will explore the giant lagoon and some cave in a very large mangrove swamp area. If lucky we might see Dusky Langer here.
12:30 Lunch on board while cruising to next kayak destination.
14:00 Start kayak around a very beautiful rock formation, where bird nest cave can be seen from the distance here. We then will kayak across the ocean to a beautiful beach and nice coral reef, where snorkeling can be done here and visibility tent to be good most of the time. Plenty of fish to be seen too around the coral hedges.
16:00 Depart from the island and head back to phuket.
17:45 Arrive at the Ao Por pier for the land transport back to the hotel.

With the intentional of showing "what it like to be by the nature in the night time" to our guest and to meet all the satisfaction we would limit the maximum number of guest per trip at 15 person only and the minimum number of 5 to start the trip and only 1 per month.However please do not hesitate to contact us for further discuss.  Any things we, the RockNrow can do to assist  to make the most suitable. , we'll do our best to make it happen!!   We can run this trip with a minimum of 5 guests and maximum of 15 to avoid the disapointment please book your trip in advance.
